lean on me….

So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset.

Exo 17

I don’t think that we are designed to be alone. I am not just talking about life partners (some are called to be single). But in life we need people in order to thrive.

This story you see above is one that shows us that when we are weary, tired and the battle may seem to be lost. To have others to hold us up is vital.

I wonder if you know anyone at the moment who could do with a little suring up? it might only be a quick phone call or a letter.

In this time of financial down turn, we may not have the same amount of money to spend but we do have the same amount of time, and i know which one i would rather have spent on me!!
