Shock and awe….

Good afternoon

“ And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.”

And so he came unexpectedly, and the message was given to an unsuspecting, marginalized, nonreligious group of unbelievers….

If i was to sum up the meaning of Christmas in one word it would be unexpected. You see God has come but not as we might think, and God still arrives in ways that we might not think he would. And God works in the lives of people who we might not think we would work in. And time after time God surprises us.

So may you, this Christmas time be surprised by a God who loves to shock. And when you find him may his blessings change your journey, forever

Merry Christmas and Grace and Peacechristmas_bauble_on_tree
